APH laboratory is divided into several sections:

• Collecting and receiving Samples Unit:

- Consists of two sections one is for Males and other is completely independent for Females.

• Tissues Unit & Histopathology:

- In this section Biopsy analysis and study from any organ in the body takes place, including fast tissue examination during surgical work and supervises this section consultants and specialists in Pathology and Histology.

• Chemical Laboratory Unit:

- Contains several medical equipment that routine analysis as blood diabetes, Kidney and liver functions, fats etc. 

- Complex analysis specialized in medicine such as Antiepileptic drugs and measuring heals focus in the body and drugs and some other analysis for diabetes.

- Lately Department of Pathological tissue was opened, and for the first time in the Southern area screening Immune hormonal receptors for the medical treatment of tumors of breast cancer.

• Blood Bank and diseases Unit

- Blood Bank :-  Blood Analysis for Volunteers and recipients according to ministry of  health main instruction and  special analysis for blood separation to its derivatives according to modern equipment  so the patient could take some of blood parts without other, and in this process the patient benefit to avoid blood transfer danger.

- Blood diseases Unit :- Made up of several Modern equipment for the multiplicity of Red and White blood cells and platelets and the detection of unusual shapes with associated cases of inflammation and cancers.
